Cut from the same fabric as the Jetstream Lite Jacket, blocks the wind and helps regulate your core temperature in the early and mid season. The GORE® WINDSTOPPER® Softshell fabric is 100% windproof to minimize the effects of windchill. Yet it expels perspiration, forming a microclimate around your body that is both warm and dry. Nearly 30% lighter than the regular Jetstream Vest, the Jetstream Lite Vest is slimmer-fitting and longer in the tail, offering a more packable solution to nippy gusts in the highcountry. A highly durable 4-way stretch polyester knit is combined with even stretchier fabric shoulder panels to deliver uncompromising range of motion. With an advanced Durable Water Repellant finish, light precipitation beads up and rolls off, helping keep you dry when small storms crop up. Two zippered hand pockets and one zippered breast pocket cache necessities like your rangefinder and GPS unit. The brushed knit backer has no loft and provides very light insulation.
The Jetstream Lite vest is ideal for charging into trail-heads with a
lighter load and days in the back-country when it’s too warm for a
lofted insulation solution.
